I did some suspension work last week and checked the backside of the wheel for the pockets. And yes these wheels have them.
You should be able to run .75 spacers without shaving or changing studs.

    I went with 1” Boras tho :D
    Should be getting them soon

Got rid of my stock tires & rims (265, 70, R16) that came on the TRD OFF Road and put Method 701's on with 265 75R 16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs C Load

Anyone have some 17x9 701's mounted up? What tire choice and cmc pinch weld fender trimming work was done?

Just want to compare vs the 17x8.5. I'm on a 2in lift with 6112 in front and 5160 in the rear.

Currently on trd pro 4runner wheels and 265/70 with 1in spacers.

The slightest amount on the front driver side. Heat gunned today for 10 minutes or less and problem solved.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
New (aftermarket) and the oems stayed with the wheels. battery was an issue for me (5yrs old) but if it's a newer truck, plenty of life left, move them to the new wheels.

I sold the TPMS with the OEM Rims & Tires...Idiot for not removing them. I didn't know it would be such an issue finding aftermarket ones that are easy to sync up...

Which ones did you go with?

    Thanks man!

Couldn’t find any pics of the black 701’s on a black truck. Wish their bronze was darker but pretty happy with this setup also. 16x8 on 265/75r16

I don't recall, it was what was on the shelf at America's Tire. They had tough go to get them linked. No issues at all after that.

Do your rims have 0 offset? Still working well in terms of rubbing after that one fix you did? Thanks!

Yes and yes. 5 minutes with a heat gun on the front driver side plastic piece & No issues afterwards.

Going from the -25 OEM Offset to 0 also changed the stance (look) of the car. Couldn’t be happier. Absolutely no rub after I did the front driver spot. And the taco looks wider and just more like a truck with the new rims & tires
