Patience. Let dummies buy up everything in sight and soon they will have more than they will ever shoot, and stop buying. Then retail prices will drop and sales start. And then CL will light up with dummies liquidating stuff they couldn't afford to begin with. That's when you stock up. Patience.

I agree with this sentiment but I don't see the hoarding stopping any time soon.

Agreed. Pick and choose. I went yesterday and bought a bunch of 9mm for .32 round and fine with that. Some good 5.56 for .51 which was borderline so I bought little.

It will, it always has. Till the next [insert mass shooting/election/whatever] and the cycle will start again. buy when the time (price) is right.

Of all my handguns, I have one Glock, a G26 gen 4. While I have favorites among them, I like all of them. My Glock is not my favorite, but it is my oldest, and the only handgun I own that has not once in over 5000 rounds had any misfires, FTF or FTE with multiple different types of ammo. Such a smooth compact.

    Working on that
Picked up a used Marlin 336 Trapper for my son. Not a true JM, but one at least produced more recently, after Remington seems to have dealt with the QC issues found in the years immediately following their purchase of the company.

Agree and I'd be curious if shooting range traffic is down? Fortunately I stocked up after the last time that ammo was hard to get/ expensive...

The G26 is a great addition. It's been my favorite for sometime.

Traffic at my range (Indoor) is down significantly:

6' rule only allows 2 people per bay (6 lanes per bay)
Shortage of ammo has virtually ground the rental business to a standstill
Ammo & firearm shortage as a whole

On a positive note, firearm transfers from online purchases are through the roof.

Our public ranges are packed all the time lately. Really any public outdoor area is packed right now.

I never thought of any of my Glocks as a beauty queen but they are definitely extremely reliable tools. That’s the big draw for me.

Glocks are definitely great tools. For durability and reliability they are a great choice for a daily “working “ sidearm. On the other hand, 1911’s are great looking guns.

I personally love HK’s and Sigs... they are as reliable as Glocks but head toward the expensive side....
