@ OVTune @ForceOfG @Mooseditty17 @ihatemytruck @SpeySquatch and a whole lot of others who have found keys to the puzzle.....Any shot we could create a sticky page which lists the Option (gear lock, double shifting, battery current, gearing, tire size,......) the MAP and the Solution / Action to be taken to modify them? Kind of a quick reference / go-to page. Maybe this already exists here but I have not found it. Just a thought that may make use of VFTuner Software a little less daunting. :angrygirl::fingerscrossed::boink:

Have you or will you ever be doing your tunes for 91 octane fuel?

I was trying to delay upshift to 5th on slow roads and it works, but I found out that the change has adverse effect in the the mountains.

I've been looking at this, too. My truck does a TC lock/unlock in 3rd under light-moderate throttle which is very annoying. I'm thinking of going old school and keeping the convertor from locking at all in gears 1-3 and then have full lock only (edit the partial lock out completely) available in 4-6.

Change all of these tables to (Edit) highest value on specified maps... hot diggity dog! That was really getting on my nerves as well.

Is this the only table to change? Not all of them like on your previous post? Never mind just read your post again!
I found the table that actually affects it. I was hoping there were separate maps for ECT and D but unfortunately not. Anyway the map that you should be able to tune and leave the others alone is Torque Converter Locking 3rd Gear S2.

Hey everyone I've been working on my 04b31 tune as far as editing acis engagement as well as shift points, tc lockup, throttle control, airflow tables, and adding gear lock back in. Has anyone messed with the upshift points for ect mode while having gear lock enabled? I'm thinking I may raise shift points more on the ect tune to make it a "keep my big heavy truck going up this hill" mode.

@ForceSmart just rise all the values on 3rd gear S2? Or the entire list you provided? I'm getting confused now.

Per this, I think you just edit the 3rd gear S2 map. I have made that change and will be testing later on today.

Is there an explanation for what the Acceleration Shifting Tables are used for? I read somwhere that the ECU uses the Primary Shifting tables as the main tables.

FYI, since Magnusson recently released the 3rd Gen superchargers, they're sending VFT's as part of the install process. It requires the calibration # and calibration ID to be sent back to Magnusson support and they in turn will send the applicable .vft file for that Calibration ID.

However, their calibration only modifies settings related to the SC. The rest of the calibration is "stock" so there may be opportunity to apply other modifications in addition to the SC calibration once these become more mainstream.

Except those vft files are locked. So you would need to start off the stock file, not their file.
