well this is an easy win for the chiefs, clearly going 4-0 now

i wonder if cam had a couple positive tests but he is feeling fine, or if he is actually feeling messed up along with the positive test results

Curious, if you placed a bet on this pats game, would this call the bet off?

i dont see how that would hold true, if injury is part of the sport.... falling ill should be the same i would guess

not sure how the boys in Vegas handle that one though honestly

Stupid. If they postpone the game until Tuesday they fuck the pats even more by giving them even less recovery time for their next game on Sunday. They already fucked up by canceling pre season and just look at all the injuries already. Just host a covid party for all of the nfl or cancel the season. They’re just putting players at risk in more ways now

i doubt the pats rather play tomorrow without cam just to keep on schedule...
shit football is risky with heavy injuries that just be a fact of life, not now more than ever though, on the contrary imho

i dont mind canceling games due to positive tests, it has worked for MLB, but clearly it sucks when you want to sit and kill time on the couch sunday

i think distinguishing injury from illness across the nfl should be fair for all teams

Exactly, sore groin? Get a special team sick on covid, delay the game. It's a dirty business and cheating is part of it.

Injuries are more likely now than ever because of the no pre season. It’s not random or coincidence that there have been so many more injuries already this year. It’s 100% in relation to the no pre season. Now, if the pats game gets rescheduled to a Tuesday, they then only have 4 days to rest before their next game, and you best believe that a shortened rest period will lead to further injuries occurring

edit: it's not just the pats needing the rest either, it's the chiefs too. they'll also be hurting and have higher injury risk which is unfair to either team.

    1) no pre season has a part in not being "conditioned" however that was across the board for all teams so it is not a disadvantage exactly.... perhaps more so for those who dont stay fit in the off season as well as others

    2) playing on artificial turf brings a faster game, a faster game causes injury at a faster speed, we see these type of injuries now more than ever, but that is not new to this season

    3) we see much less of other style injuries now because of new rules as we all know types of hits etc etc

    4) this all stems from the covid, not the lack of pre season, two totally different issues the nfl is dealing with: injury and illness, two diff monsters

    5) there are four other days of the week that the nfl does not use, plus by weeks, there is no doubt a way to postpone a game and not have to cause major upset, there is plenty of time, time is the one thing we all have here in common

    6) if one or two extra days of rest really cause terrible injury, maybe something should be done about that... train better, eat better, rest better... i mean shit these are pros, play smart live smart stay healthy, shouldnt be too hard, some yoga and power band work outs, got brady feeling like hes 30 right??
