Can anyone recommend a surface mount quick connect for my ARB compressor?
Preferable cheaper than the ARB model and with some kind of cover/plug to keep sand/water out of it.

I just used a NPT quick disconnect female air fitting on my bumper (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-3...ck-Connector-Kit-5-Piece-HDA71900AV/205190585) and use a rubber chair tip (don't recall the correct size but basically this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Shepherd-1-in-Black-Rubber-Leg-Tips-4-per-Pack-89128/100138443). been using it for years though I have changed out the female fitting once or twice in that time frame.

Got my ARB installed today using the Rago mount. Always shocked when things work on the first try.

Does anyone have pictures of how they mounted a quick disconnect/air chuck on a 3rd gen behind the grill but in front of the radiator?

I have my compressor mounted next to the windshield fluid reservoir and i already have the stainless leader hose but need ideas on how to mount the chuck.

Ive searched but could find anything andy eyes are cross eyed from going through this thread.

you can mount a frame nipple on a simple homemade bracket from angle aluminum. The frame nipple has 1/4” NPT threads on the inside with a threaded outside and comes with a nut.

I just got my up down air system today in the mail. I’m gonna have to figure out a place to put it. My power tray is taking up the room in the place where their bracket goes. I’m going to have to make a bracket and get it over in that area in the blue circle. I kinda makes more sense to me to keep it over by the compressor anyways. It also didn’t come with instructions on installing it. It said to look at their website for instructions..... nothing for a Tacoma. Probably gonna have to follow the Wifey instal You Tube video. I’ll have time next week to mess with it. 2D594F92-8C1A-4F35-9D2F-A6EA87CCA882.jpg

Where you have circled is where my compressor is. I have a 2010, so I dont have anything there. I just mounted my compressor using a piece of 16 gauge steel that i bent, but its rusting through now. Ive been looking for another suitable mount, but haven't found anything yet.

I did find some stuff on Rago Fabs site, but its for the other side. Thats where I have my sPod mounted. I also dont want to move the compressor to where you have it, because Id have to get a longer air line to go back to my tank (not a huge expense, but i want to use that space for something).

I'm just imagining one of those as seen on TV commercials where the lady goes for a Tupperware lid and the piles of Tupperware spontaneously go flying all over the kitchen...
Pulling out a hose isn't that difficult, 10mins of talking shit while you walk around the truck isn't that bad. Also it's way cheaper to make your own daisy chain if you really can't be bothered to air up 4 whole tires seperately.

I'm of the same mindset. Never been sold on the multi-chuck hoses, but maybe if I tried one I'd change my mind :notsure:

I think those systems have hard lines that are mounted near each wheel. But i get it. I am not going to get one. Thought it was an interesting idea

i may eventually do this down the road if i decide to upgrade to a dual arb. Would be nice to air up the same pressures simultaneously but with short 2-3ft sections or air line. I like the sponsoredbywifey air system but I’d likely just make it myself.

Those systems seem cool. Just not sure how it saves any time? Spend money and time on install, but I still have to get the little hoses out and walk all the way around my truck....twice.
