Hello everyone
I have to install 2.0 on my daughters truck today. Finally went to New York where she is to perform this. Is resetting AT and LV still recommended and when do I perform ? Before restarting the truck ? Thank you

 

I don't think performance is coming guys. Pack'er up and let's go home

 

After you successfully flash, turn off the truck. Turn accessory mode back on and then reset AT and LV. Turn off. Then start up the truck and let idle for 5- 10 minutes.

Sure hope soon, after rolling around on the stock Toyota tune for a bit recently it’s hard to tell between it and 2.0 until I hit the highway. I don’t have the knowledge to mess with the fine tuning.

 

Has there been any update to when the final versions with gear lock are coming? I am still on the 04b04 version with the starter hesitation because it is the last version that had gear lock.

 

Per Mat's web page, it sounds as if it will indeed arrive:

The last “update” on 2.0 final release from @OVTune was Aug 13, post #67559. It’s good info to know what’s happening in the background.

If you have Vftuner, you can do gear lock, and you can make a performance/tow tune. Just read the VFtune thread to get instructions. Or load @Mooseditty17 ‘s performance tune in his signature. I don’t personally use gear lock, but it’s easy to build with those instructions.

 

Some of us who are waiting and watching aren’t interested in DIY tuning so didn’t purchase VF tuner. We just would like to install @OVTune ‘s final, final product and call it a day. The current 2.0 final is plenty good enough for my purposes but Mat has said that the final, final is much more complex and likely a lot better. So the wait will have been worth it.

 

I understand. I was right there with you until a few weeks ago. I just got impatient. If you decide you want to try a custom tune, just let me know. With or without Vftuner.

Yep, I'm in that category as well. Patiently waiting but I hate following this thread. I check in every so often to see if there's any news. Heck, my windows 10 updated recently so it probably doesn't work now anyways.
