have a new drum brake assy kit on hand. Chances are with 100k it’ll be a bitch to get it off. I’m planning to (haven’t reached the point yet) take the drums off to clean them every 20k. At 100k in New England you might not be able to get them off cleanly without breaking something. Rather have the replacement sitting next to you in the driveway than need to take an Uber to the store to find them and find out they’re an order only and need to wait 3 days to get them to you. And, if you don’t open the box, you can return it to the store later (check the returns policy though to be sure).

With my just recent new frame would they’ve taken the time to check the drums and things on the wheels? I know I have all new brake lines

My vehicle inspection report indicated my breaks front and rear are at the halfway point so that’s good

I don’t know that they’d need to take the drums off to get to the new frame stuff. Doubt it but someone more knowledgeable than me may answer.

I also wouldn’t trust the inspections they’re not really done in depth.

Alright folks I'd like to pick your brains. The Infiniti makes a clicking sound. It does it when I coast and then go back in the throttle, it does it switching from forward to reverse, and it does it on take off. The truck did this before but only when switching direction until I did a brake job and actually had grease behind the pads. Infiniti said it's the pads. Also it towed the trailer beautifully to the cape this weekend for a quick trip with cruise control at 65. Held there real nicely

Shopped local...They had the consumer reports top rated in stock... LG WT7800CW top load...Wife is giddy...the neighbors have one and she's always marveling at it's abilities...Our front loader is a "compact" front loader and it's probably sufficient for a single person...We do 3x as many loads as a top loader. It came with the house so I guess 18 years is good enough

well see the thread that would come up in most likely was recently locked. And @TreeFortRichard and myself MAY OR MAY NOT have had a hand in that.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Speaking of brakes. I finally did mine today. Stock Toyota rotors with TRD pads. Nice improvement in grip/grab.

It was nice to work on the truck again!

Differential done. Took 3 quarts on the button with a little spillage. SMELLED LIKE ASS...I decided to just drop the spare tire and then I could squeeze the bottles right into it. Time to test drive...see if it feels different. I know I need to do the manual transmission fluid too...it might have a weep leak.

Gear Oil doesn't smell good at all. Maybe after having kids, I've smelled worse, so it doesn't bother me. I used a cheap VatoZone pump when I did my fluids. Made the job easier.

Got my catch can installed today. What an asshole job that was! Took a little over 4 hours and half hour for the oil change because they must have had a gorilla tighten everything...
