They don’t look to bad considering the mileage. Good job

Looks better than mine did when I changed them here.
I don't know the last time they were changed before that.

Ya i just kept putting it off and well you know and finally I just decided to get it done.

Sup bud, I need to spend some time digging through your thread, looks like you have done a bunch to it since you got it. I started and something pulled me away...

It's all good, I have three or four threads that I'm working my way through in my free time. I understand

I was slightly distraught when I pulled that first oily spark plug out
I need to check them again and see if any more has found it's way past the seals.

Well spent the past week out at the cabin this past week in Sanderson, but before those pics felt I should post the truck first as it hit its first 100K while on the trip home.

Here is checking the feeder prior to leaving, had to adjust the time as it was going off too early in the morning.

    IMG_6807.jpg

Then as they say first of a couple of these I look forward to seeing in this rig.

Well where to begin, it was a long week but enjoyed it at the same time...had plenty of nice evenings but some long days getting it where it is at now. I am not done and as I did have help @07taco @Phoosa @BuzzMor ( thanks again for coming out guys) there were some issues with the cabin as I started to get into it, some could not be fixed but its a far cry from where I started.

Small history, cabin has been in the family for 30 years, abandoned until last spring for about 10 years....If you scroll back in the thread there are other pics on how bad it was.

So now the outside starting view

    Lets start removing the trim

Not as much done the first day as we had to unload the trailer to get to all the material but here is the end of day one.

    IMG_3326.jpg

After relaxing in the afternoon, the guys decided to go for some small wheeling on the property. Courtesy pics from my wife.

Then sitting back and enjoying the evening, couple of beers/drinks and cooked up some food for us all.

Well day three, the guys are gone and the wife hurt her back while moving something....:annoyed:

    So here we go

    Prepping for door relocation

    IMG_3333.jpg

Door out and exterior walls coming downIMG_3334.jpg

    IMG_3335.jpg

More of the exterior coming down

    IMG_3336.jpg

Time to prep for new window for where the kitchen is being relocated to

    IMG_3337.jpg

Had to fix the floor first, door had leaked for years and the flooring was weak.

    IMG_3338.jpg

New window in and door working

    IMG_3339.jpg

Siding going on after all that...and I am whooped at this point of the day.

Well the next morning was not siding work to start the day, had to install a new panel to feed the house, little overkill but better than what was in place to begin with....got to love the old fuses that were in place....

    Sunrise

    IMG_6790.jpg

    Old panel

    IMG_6793.jpg

new one in place, had the electric company come out and do a temp disconnect, this was done in about 35 min....now getting the house hot again took a little longer as I had to relocate the feed to the house.

    IMG_6794.jpg

    IMG_6795.jpg
Did not have enough pipe, will disconnect that next month and finish this section of pipe.
    IMG_6796.jpg

    Yaaaaa more siding work

Ok so that is about as far as we got with the siding, had enough to do the next corner but had to work on things inside as well...Also the wife could not wait for some color out there...not my choice but no sense arguing over it.

Ok so the old kitchen area had some issues, every time you walked over there it felt like you were going down hill....come to find out boards were crooked.....nah not out here...that would never happen.:frusty:

Sup up with the plywood which was never tacked down in any fashion....

    IMG_3365.jpg

    IMG_3366.jpg

Come to find out the first two cross beams had a crown, ended up cutting them horizontally in place with the skill saw.... no more issues...

Test fit for the bunks to relocate, all is coming together nicely.
