Thanks, I wouldn't have tried so hard but my previous truck died and I really couldn't wait much longer. And I really wanted an army green one. and it absolutely had to be a manual for me even giving up some goodies.
Since there was no way I was going to go with a nissan or jeep the toyota was the only option for me. and since the local dealers couldn't get me anything even close in a manual no matter the color, I went all in on finding one.

besides thanks to this thread, I knew there were green ones in the wild. I figured someone would be happy to sell me one if they only knew I wanted it.

but the jokes on them I totally would have paid msrp and still been giggling all the way home lol.

None of the cool remote features on the 2020s really work for us MT'ers either. No remote start being the biggest one that would be nice to have. I really hope they have a dirt cheap option for the remote stuff after trials run out in the MTs, because there is no way it is worth that monthly/yearly cost for us, but I wouldn't mind having a couple of the other things like the crash detection and SOS button for peace of mind.

I have a 2020 AG Pro MT and it has the crawl option. Obviously I do not have the push button start but I do have keyless lock and unlock, scare alarm but with the MT it is already theft proof - no one knows how to drive them anymore - LOL

Enjoy, you got a great deal, I was only able to get $1K under MSRP but I ordered mine back in December of 2019 and received it March 6 just before the lock-down (long story - early February was the original date). I only have 2k miles on mine, working with the dealership on the maintenance as the six month has come and gone - no need to service 2k.

I should probably post this question to a larger audience but I'll try here first, because I have a feeling you guys are likely the most observant Taco owners around anywhere.

I've only had my truck for a few weeks, but I've now been through 3 overnight rain storms. Each morning after, when I open each door, a lot of water pours out the drain holes. The front doors have black plastic drain holes, and water pisses out of them like when I take my morning leak after coffee. The back two doors, not as much, but I have never had a car where any water poured out from inside the doors. My rubber weatherstripping seems fine. No noise or whistling when driving. Dealer took a look and said doors are sealed properly. I have a feeling my doors will rust out in a year or two. Google search shows me only a few others had this problem, but when washing their car. I didn't come across any solutions or resolutions. Some people claim this is normal.

I do park my car on a slight incline uphill, nose up, but the hill is only a degree or two. This might influence the water intake into the doors but I don't see why it would.

those are 255/85/16 bf goodrich km3's
because it was the biggest most aggressive thing I could put on an otherwise 100% stock truck.
This is mostly going to be an offroad truck for me so it was an easy choice.
But they are surprisingly not horrible on the street.

Do you mean low range and idling in 1st? Or crawl control? If you’re saying your MT Tacoma has crawl control, id love to see the CC dial and stick shifter in the same photo...lol that would be a real unicorn.

It actually has crawl control, not sure if it is part of the Pro package (thinking it is). I have tried it, it is OK still prefer the old fashion way of using 4w-Low in 1st gear. I guess it is kind of cool technology but really not as necessary for the majority of people using these vehicles, I can see where a true rock crawler would appreciate it but other than that not sure what other applications it is helpful with. Just my PO.

The manual does not have crawl control (Auto Only), it has its brother A-Trac. Seems pretty useless in my opinion. But it is another tool you can use.

Please post a picture of your CC dial, and stick shifter in the same photo if you can. You’d have the only manual Tacoma in the world with both! Congrats.

Thanks for confirming you have seen water pour out of the doors after it rains on 3 of your Tacoma’s. I guess as long as these drains don’t clog, the doors shouldn’t rust out too quickly? I’m still a little concerned though. I’ve owned about 20 cars in my life and I’ve never seen water pouring out in any of their doors like this. Seems strange.

I do think the angle has alot to do with it, I have a relatively steep driveway (bike is in the garage so park out front) but even on flatland I have seen a little but never had any of mine long enough obviously to comment on the long term, this is my first keeper as it finally has everything I want which is why I finally rolled in here and popping money tailoring the other things I would like to do.

I bought my Demon Brackets and the shackles on Amazon. Depending on what you buy you can get different colors - red is normally an option - or you can custom paint them like I did.
