    My TC changes are all on perf_9.29. Perf+2.5 was great. I just did a 300 or so mile camping trip with it. Really awesome stuff.

    What about Perf+2.5 did you like the most? I want to combine all of what was great into one tune and call it a day. This is beginning to consume me...

    Is anyone aware of the PID we can monitor for the partial lock up state?

    I did a bunch of right turns in 3rd and 4th and the issue is not there. Interestingly the ignition stopped retarding as well
    So the fix is working, I may need to go back and mod only s2 table for 3rd and 4th. I did not notice any abnormalities though.
    Tranny temps were normal.
    And I got a progress on the dead pedal in 5th at speeds between 70 to 80 on the incline.
    I have smoothed (ctrl+I) out curves in Contol airload and Expected Airload tables in 50 to 90 % load.
    Today I was able to see the throttle opening to 40 degree, maintaining the pace.
    I'm wondering if we can bump those numbers by a few.
    P.S. Normsl (expected)TC locking is still happening

    So I drove around a bit with the changes made to my TC Maps which were: Locking 3rd Gear S2 raised to 255.999, locking 4th Gear 2 points raised 10 points across the table, Locking 5th gear 2 table raised 5 points across the table, Unlocking 4th Gear 2 table raised 5 points across the table, Unlocking 5th gear 2 first 4 cells raised 5 points.

    My drive consisted of city driving anywhere from 25mph to 55-60mph and I monitored my OBD Fusion App (not sure how accurate this may be) and I monitored: Lock Up Status, Throttle Position, Engine Speed and Status of the Shift Status. I also can't figure out how to access my logs on OBD Fusion app yet.. they aren't showing up under "Files".

    During my drive I noticed the TC never locks in 1-3 gears and the lugging in 3rd gear is gone from the partial lock that was happening. In 4th gear the TC will lock (from what I remember) at light throttle (cruising) around 33-35mph but once you give it slight throttle increase it unlock and jump about 300rpm and accelerate smoothly. That lock-unlock is smooth and can barely be felt which is nice. 5th gear will lock while cruising in a similar situation as 4th gear around 45mph and same results when you give it slight throttle it will unlock and smoothly accelerate. I did not change the S2 tables for 4th or 5th gear since I didn't really have the issues I had in 3rd gear. I didn't test 6th gear because I haven't changed any of those tables. Overall I feel like the 5 point change to the Unlocking tables 4th and 5th 2 made a big improvement to acceleration from the cruising speeds I tested and the RPM's drop bounce up and down before it unlocks like it used to is gone. Overall I'm happy with the improvement but I'm sure there's going to be more to fully get it dialed in but I feel like I'm in a good starting spot.

    If I find out how to access the logs on OBD Fusion app I will post them to show when the TC lock/Unlocked even if its not that accurate it will still show the parameters for the TC unlock/lock situations.

    they used to just show up under the Files tab with the date and time. But now they just log and disappear

    The throttle and transmission felt connected and did what I expected. While pulling a hill, it downshifted predictably then when I created and let up, it shifted back up. I had never felt so connected through the throttle in this truck before.

    I’m interested in how well it runs with just the 3&4th S2 tables adjusted so those gears go straight unlocked to lock. It seems most if not all issues are due to partial locking.

    @ForceOfG
    Gear 2 tables are full lock D mode
    S2 tables are half lock D mode
    S3 tables control ETC torque converter settings.

    This is what you've experienced correct?

    Ok. My goal here is to eliminate the TC Lock and half lock in 1-4. I still want it to lock when towing as it always had when using gear lock. So if I leave the S3 tables alone, I'll still have locked / unlocked as designed by factory for towing.... Right?

    And to accomplish that from what I’ve understood after reading the posts about it 10 times over is to just max out S2 tables for 1-4 gears and nothing else?

    Which is the ovtune on the website? I’m looking for the professionally tuned with 93 octave fuel. I’m not comfortable tuning my own truck and I’m afraid I’d screw something up

    I believe that's the case. However I only plan on towing using gear lock therefore I will be in S mode with etc on. So... I'm thinking if I leave the S3 tables alone, but change all the rest 2 and S2 for gears 1-4, to 250.999, I will then have achieved what I'm trying for. Performance with no extra shifts in drive, and the ability to tow without burning out my torque converter while in gear lock.
    @ForceOfG ...
    Is this statement in fact correct in your eyes?

    Are you aiming for it not locking at all in 1-4?

    Then you got it right I’m pretty sure. Right now mine doesn’t lock 1-3 but does in 4-6 which is why I’m experience rpm drop of 100-200 after it shifts to 4th.

    For my next revision I’m going to take your route which is to raise gear 3&4 2 and S2 maps to 255.999? My 1-3 gears were already set to that.

    Seems like we’re both trying to accomplish the same thing. So if you get to test this theory before I get to let me know how it goes!
