Does anybody have a good ride height recommendation for the 6112 5160 combo? I will be running 275/70r17 Falken wildpeaks. I would like to best optimize the suspension travel/performance.

A.R.E. Topper with victory topper rack, blacked out exterior emblems, star armor side steps, TRD CAI, TRD Pro exhaust, Method MR305 NV 16in Rims, TRD PRO front grill, Meso coin holder, TRD Pro skid plate, Kings 2.5 coilovers with remote resis front and rear, OME HD Dakar’s, ECGS, LT285/75R16 KM3s, Dirt king UCAs, Meso gas cap holder, Meso blacked out interior kit, TRD start/stop red button, AVS low profile window guards, AVS low profile hood protector, Full LED upgrades inside and outside, decked bed storage system. And I’m sure there’s more I’m missing lol
Clip 5 set on drivers side, clip 4 on passenger side. That’s what I’d do anyway. Help with the lean while also gaining height. 5160s are nice to, I love mine! Take care OP.

    ^ same
I have a little under 2.5” all the way around and I have 285/70 17’s. I had the bilstein 5100 set up on my old Tacoma and these 6112s/5160 set is awesome.

Nice, good to know. Have you guys had any issues with rubbing? I know I will have to remove the mud flaps which is no big deal but I would prefer not to chop the cab mount.

Zero rubbing. I was concerned because my wheels rubbed on my first gen. But I have tons of room.

Ok great. Instead of running the 275,s do you recommend I should just go for the 33 (285/70r17)?

I would say that really depends on the look you want to go. I like the 285s cus they are beefier, gas mileage takes a little hit tho. It’s really personal preference tho.

On that tire size you shouldn't have to do a CMC based on what I've read here. I don't have actual experience with that size though since I went straight to 285/70/17 and had to chop.

Do you have a lift or anything on it? I’m looking at 2-3 lift, will that help avoid rubbing?

I’ve been thinking about that setup, seems like the most commonly liked
Does it lift the rear as well? Or do you need something else to do so?

Since there is no springs in the rear to lift, u will have to use a block, an AAL or a different leaf pack.

I did a 1 inch block for now, once I add weight to the rear I will prob get new leaf springs.. I love it, the ride quality is great.

Awesome! I’ve heard about staying away from blocks but never really understood why. I wanted to do AALs or even a new leaf springs, but both are expensive and pain in the ass

Yeah what you risk with a block is something called axel wrap.. but I mean I’m not too worry about it with a 1 inch block. If I had a 6 inch lift with blocks in the rear then I would be worried.
