Even CA has smog testing-free counties believe it or not. Only a few though

I'm pretty sure there's a VIN sticker on my frame in the front wheel well, not sure which side. Gonna be under the truck tomorrow getting some maintenance done I'll try to confirm

 

The sticker is in the passenger wheel well if I remember right. Probably gone on all your guys trucks. Its right where the wheel rubs the frame if you get bigger tires

Lol believe it or not, no... But I am going to lower my lift a little bit tomorrow so I don't blow a boot on the long drive to Moab.

Need to do the engine, rear diff and tcase oil tomorrow as well as clean the inside of my truck since it's filthy. Don't mind it so much day to day but a 11 hour trip in a dirty cab will drive me nuts

Also need to check torque on some stuff since the shop had my front end apart to do my LCA bushings last month. Need to make sure the LBJs are good, reinstall my IFS skid and check my rack bolts for torque after doing those bushings a few weeks back. Will probably go over all the suspension bolts for good measure

 

Also I think its stamped on the rear of the frame. I remember seeing something back there.

 

Yeah I kind of kick myself for not lowering the lift up front....

You going to do it with the coilovers still in the truck?

Spring compressors to relieve tension?

 

You should be able to jack the front end up and use the wrench to adjust it

 

Yeah it's super easy to adjust the lift on Kings, just loosen the allen bolt on the top hat a bit then crank them down with the punch they come with. Takes some muscle but it's not bad. Worst part is the SPC UCA ball joint gets in the way because of where it sits. Stock UCAs are probably easier to work around

Yeah I bet it's easy, it's the minimal clearance.

I still need to install my UCA but with other shit I need to do, I'll knock those out after Moab.
