I just finished the install on my 2020 Sport, no hyper flash at all on mine, unless I'm in Reverse, with one of the turn signals on (either one). But honestly, I have never ever in my life used a turn signal while reversing any of my vehicles so it doesn't bother me.

The lights look and work great! Very easy to install, so much brighter in reverse, the tails look so much better with the "full C" lit up when I hit the brakes, and the amber turn signals look sweet! You're gonna love the kit.

Very few folks Parallel Park any more, but those that do are the ones that really care about the hyper-flash.

I hear you, to each his own (or her)...Even if and when I do parallel park, I do it pretty quickly and don't use my turn signal while backing up. I believe MESO has resistors to solve that problem if its an issue for some, but I'm good

Thanks for all of the replies! I'm glad to hear that it's not overly common. I'm pretty excited to get these. They look great in the pictures and videos I've seen. I really like the amber turn signals and the fact that you get the full C brake lights. Seems like it should have come that way from the factory. I don't want there to be any doubt that I'm braking or making a turn lol.

Still looking for a set of 2018-2019 black bezel tails though.

Good choice! Keep an eye on ebay, I got an OEM set there shipped for $100 a month or 2 ago. That chrome was a little much. Need to paint the bumper caps too.. Just gotta get this kit on and they are good to go.

I replaced the chrome bumper caps on my SR5 with a $50 pair from car ID. Off-brand cheap, but once they were on the bumper no one could tell the difference. Plus it looks way better.

What is the expected rated life for these LED lamps?
Also where can I get spare lamps, just in case?
    Thanks!

I installed mine today. Great product.

One thing I wish it did was illuminate the reverse light when you unlock with dome/bed lights. Similarly to GM does with their vehicles. Essentially act as a reverse puddle light.

That would be really cool. Unfortunately that’s more of how the truck is programmed/wired. theoretically you could make this happen if you taped off the cab light circuit, and installed a diode in the total tail harness.

Installed mine tonight well. Very happy with them, love having the whole red portion light up as brake lights and the yellow turn signal, I think it’s a lot clearer for other drivers.

TTL Stage 1 is great in everyday driving but it really pays for itself in harsh conditions where visibility is limited(ie. heavy rain, snow, fog). I found a dramatic change in response from other drivers when I turn my signals on or break. The bright lights catch their attention way better than the stock dimmed tail lights.

I travel across the interior of Alaska for winter year round, so that’s precisely why I got this kit. I wanted to be more visible from behind in bad weather especially foggy and blowing snow, something we see a lot of. I actually asked @MESO last fall about getting just the wiring and keeping the stock bulbs but found that they don’t put off enough heat to keep the taillights free of snow and frost in our weather anyway so I just ordered the whole kit.

When I have a 3rd Gen Taco behind me I always wonder if they see my tails and notice the difference.

Either way I think the Meso Stage 1’s are way more visible making them safer, which was my primary reason for installing them.

Also I had hyperflash when in reverse, Meso sent a couple of slick plug and play resistors at no cost to me. Solved the hyperflash. Love to product!

Update 2016 off road, no hyper flash when in reverse and signaling. I do it daily into the driveway.

I also have over 6 things running off the battery but they are on their own fuses and I have a blue seas breaker
