I’ve got similar to these. They look great, but if you actually use them, they are so high they really force you to almost hit your head on the door if you’re not careful. After you figure out how to use them, they aren’t bad. They just don’t work like traditional low hung running boards. They also hit the back of your leg when getting out unless you step on them. I think they are the best looking running board out there so it’s worth the annoyance.

Sent the GF on a girls trip for the weekend so I could commandeer the garage for some organizing and finally fit my new Longbed inside.

Ok, cool, just curious. I'm always interested in what people are using for radios. If you are serious about emergency coms out in wilderness, look into getting your FCC Ham radio technician license. Piece of cake to study for, now with all the online resources, and you'll have access to all the repeaters in your area. You mentioned Ocala, so you must be somewhere around where I live, and there plenty of repeaters that reach out into the middle of no-where up there. Just food for thought. Florida also has something called the SAR NET, which is a series of microwave-linked repeaters that cover almost the entire state. So you key up the mic, and can be heard anywhere in the state if it's that much of an emergency.

I'm in Orlando. Not a short drive by any means, but Ocala has the best chance of yielding me a deer tag/opportunity short of driving to Alabama, lol.

Desert Armor tent and UpTop rack installed! I’ve got a lot of sag with the bike rack and a fully packed bed. Fox 2.0s and a 1.5 in AAL currently. Thinking about getting OMU Dakar medium duty leaf packs to help? Any input would be appreciated!

Well I made brackets for to sheer bolt my steering at my machine shop. Then went home and tried out my new Hobart welder 140 110v on my knuckle and it welded up 1/4” no problem. The Total Chaos +2 and Fabtech 6” bracket lift will be finished up next weekend. Cruising along with this mod. Seriously, I think it would take me twenty minutes just to remove the a-pillar cover!

Do the speakers come with a harness to plug and play or do you have to cut and twist wires on these?

The cover is held on by one 10mm. Two 10s hold the tweeter. They were plug and play.

Painted and installed the SS flushmount eyelet bolts for the cab-over camper front turnbuckles. SS carriage bolts below. We also removed a leaf from the Dobinsons 111 medium leaf pack and installed the Dobinsons 1/4" spacers up front to level out the truck.

I hear you brother. I have the door bowl lights still sitting on my bench to install, and I pre-ordered the driver's side grab handle!! It needs to stop. The amount of money being spent is killer, and these are smaller mods. I just upgraded the front speakers and I'm looking at an amp and sub too. I keep looking at all kinds of bumpers, and lights and who knows what, it never ends...

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Try being a Lion's fan. It' usually too cold to wash a truck.

The bowl lights took less than 5 minutes a door. (I did not remove the panels, just fished the wire down). The real problem is for every item I check off the list, 3 more get added. For me, adding kicker speakers all around and a little powered sub rounded out the tunes, so I can hold off doing an amp. I have several sitting in a box in the garage, but I’m compelled to spend money on new mods. Still waiting for SSO to make a slimline with a hitch receiver like they used to.
