It’s a good turn out, here is the first pile.

 

Sorry to the North Trail crew that I ditched before the tracks, felt like I was leading to slow anyway, Dax and Eric were really leading, I was just the 1st truck .

My blood sugar did not want to co-operate Saturday. Just for a reference I was not using 'low' blood sugar as an excuse. The number is supposed to be between 4 ~ 8 when I check. It was 1.8 when I stopped at the water crossing. I have had the ambulance wake me up at the number in my bed a few times. So I got lucky.

Got happier as soon as I turned around and was heading back.

@Toms2Yotas Hope you and James made it back to the beach with out any damage. That poor FJ needs some skids plates to do those intermediate trails

I'll post more photos in a few hours. i need to unpack for myself and finish cleaning the footwell of the truck.
I got the best outcome from a shit scenario.

 

The group doing the South Trail run today just exited Kirkham Rd.

 

What time? Did they get lost?

 

Yea they did a little bit I think, Filipe was able to get in contact with Gonzo and was able to get them some guidance looking at some maps.

 

You have plenty of experience from this group to draw upon...

I lost a radio on the North Trail somewhere near the turnout to the Skunk Lake camp site. Can't remember if the specific Cobra model floats on water. Good thing I bought a pair.

 

Yours don't float. Mine do...

Again, thank you everyone for coming. Each person made a difference and place much cleaner. We still have lots to do ahead when Spring arrives. See you all at the next wheeling session

Shout out to BAJA (Brampton Area Jeep Association) for being in good spirits when they bumped into us at the first campsite. we asked if they could also give us a hand in collecting trash along the sites. they went up ahead and cleared out Dogfish lake's campsite of trash and shoved it into the back of my truck

That.south trail with mud rain and the rocks was challenging at times but that Lexus kicked butt. Philip can drive too. We did some bridge maintenance i think. I had an old.gps with me and followed the snowmobile trail.
