Lol ask myself all the time. I'm not OCD but rather not go wrong for lack of diligence. Gap was tiny, too close for comfort IMO. Pull it off now while it's out of the bay. Not sure how much metal will expand under the hood and then debris getting kicked up.

Any idea on price? Just wanted mine to look OE for emissions.

So anybody with a Stealth 2.7 they wanna sell

I'm not talking about your OCD or lack of it. I'm asking, why would you use those horrible press on stealth pulleys still when we have qwikchange hubs and our pleasure of pick of sizes?!

@12TRDTacoma mostly just the stock look for CA emissions. I'm not sure if that's something is still an issue for people

    It's not.

I and many others have gotten smogged so many times with qwikchange pulleys. It's really not even a factor.

I know it's just technicality bs. I am about keeping it emissions friendly to the eye.. Upon searching smoothflow, I don't know which is 5-rib. Going to order on Monday or today if someone can confirm which to order on smoothflow.

You have to email him and let him know that you want a 5 rib kit for the 4.0L TRD supercharger.

Does the snout need to be trimmed to install the smoothflow qwikchange hub with a 2.7 pulley?

Yes. The need to trim is based on the fact that the pulley itself is what would interfere with the blower material if not trimmed down, not the hub itself, so Pulleyboys or Smoothflow you would have to cut regardless because a 2.7 is the diameter it is regardless of brand.

So this happened over the weekend. Thanks @Roostfactor and @JustDSM.

So initial thought on the AFE Momentum GT. Fully respect the engineering and design time and costs, but the material could be better for the price point. I went with the pro-dry filter, and it is a beast, but the plastic used on the housing feels on the cheap side. Slightly louder than the stock intake, but not significant. Also, for the price point I should not be pulling fasteners off the stock setup to reuse in the new intake - petty stuff, but yeah.

Hopefully next weekend I will get a chance to do some logged pulls for comparison against stock.

he’s awesome in direct messages on here. Just don’t want to be that public cheapie. He does great work by reputation! Just can’t reason the cost to get his help with ECU stuff when I still have a list of mods I want to finish before hand lol.
