Upgraded another Jeep Hurricane for my good friend’s kid this afternoon. new motors/gearboxes, 2 18v batteries, a brake reduction module. speed controller and a low voltage cutoff. Just have to do some wire management and break in the new motors.

I did my kids Jeep a few weeks ago and the thing rips. My 2 yo drifts all over the back yard.

 

thats just awesome. haha. got to teach them young!!!! how much did that run?

 

first one I got for $40 then prob put about $200 into it. The second green Jeep I got for $120 fully functioning. The hurricane was for my buddy with a JL Rubicon so I went full stage 4 motors/gearboxes to eventually bump it up to 24 or 36v.

People practically give these things away when they need a new battery/charger. That’s why I switch to Milwaukee batteries; quick charge and available at any Home Depot / Amazon.

 

damn. might need to look into buying them and rebuilding them

 

Takes up a lot of space; I have 3 in the barn and 1 in the garage at the moment.

Once we’re down to just 2 it shouldn’t be bad. Probably not much profit in flipping them. if people are looking for used power wheels; they typically want them stupid cheap or less than buying a new battery for the one they already have.
