    House dorkel mod!!

Thanks man. Small progress moving forward until the big Milwaukee boii can be purchased...once that's in the garage/workshop, things can keep moving along; at a bit of an impasse currently

I agree, however, the other day I had a Tall pumpkin and sweet cream cold brew with a cinnamon sprinkle and it was just under $5 and had very little ice. I met one of my Maryland peeps there to take him some tools to do the ECGS bushing mod.

Now, while I don't buy into the whole fall pumpkin craze and typically make fun of people who do, it was damn good my friend and I think you should head over to your local SBs and get yourself and that lovely wife of yours one. I bet you could even get a decaf version for your Angel's.

    My treat!

When you find Harbor Freight gift cards while looking for keys to your grandparent's place and you're working on rebuilding your garage/tool setup...

Candidates for consideration include, but not limited to: - it should be noted that the black and orange cart under my worktable, currently, is not mine (it's my dad's) and is made of plastic. This seems a bit more robust and functional for the chop saw (also not mine; my dad's). I think the Milwaukee boii needs to be purchased first before I decide what to grab with these HF gift cards...

That red tool chest is sweet B! I like how it's designed for all the cordless hand tools. I especially like the flush top storage area. I wish mine was like that.

One of these days I want to get a shop cart. A two or three shelf type. One thing I hate is when I am doing something and have to set up a small table, or worse, the tailgate to lay all my shit out.

Hey, I also wanted to compliment you on the lighting upgrade! That's definitely on my "to do" list. I still have some 6' fluorescent fixtures, and some shorter 4'. I only have bulbs for the 4' so when the 6s go, I am switching them all to LED. I would also like to break up the circuits. Mine are either all on or all off. I'd like to have 3 circuits. One for just enough light to come and go. Then one for each bay to work on things in.

Oh, if you don't have a safe, and have the need for that much storage, that would be my choice. I know a lot of people recommend HF gun safes.

Thanks Rob. I am excited for the new box. Mom isn't stoked on it because she sees the old, outgrown toolbox there and wonders why that is not good enough and why I need to buy a new, bigger one lol

A more, functional, more open tool cart would be nice to add to the fleet. The worktable has been a game changer, however. I love it.

Thanks. I love the lighting upgrade. The photos don't do it justice. My brother wanted to grab 2 of the 3 old shop lights and saw the lights in person yesterday and instantly changed his mind. Haha GET THESE LIGHTS!!!

A safe is on the short list as I want to pick up a shotty or two; one tactical/home defense and one for trap/hunt.

Yea, I bought a decent size tool box when we moved in here. You can amass a lot of tools in 18 years. And no one throws tools away! So I have one drawer that full of screwdrivers for instance. I'd like to split them up into two drawers. One for phillips head and the other for flat. Your setup is definitely a lot nicer than mine. Mine looks like someone threw a bomb in my garage. What I need is a large shed to put a lot of the crap in I rarely use. And all my yard shit.

I'd like to convert a rolling cart into a vehicle wash station too.

Too much to do, so little time or money to do it with.

I recently built a 9mm P80 G17 and thought my next would be a .45 or 10mm but now I'm feeling more like a shotgun for home defense to go with the 9mm.

    Something like this

Hate to say, the downspout is going to leak. The joints are backwards, Should be male to female, top down, otherwise water will collect and drip at each flange.

I'm all for multiple shotguns, but the best entry level is the Mossberg home defender set up, I got mine on sale for $200, now I think it can be found for around $240, comes with a 18-1/2" and a 22" or something like that. I ended up buying another barrel with interchangeable chokes just because I could, but not necessary. Great deal.

Good catch. I will fix it this weekend. Luckily, no rain this week. That piece was such a PITFA and I was over it. There was also a LOT on my to-do list last weekend as you could probably tell. I definitely was feeling a bit overwhelmed, honestly. It is what it is though. Part of owning a home and having projects.

I have been eyeing Mossberg for a while now.

It looks like the Home Defender model has jumped in price:

    https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting...rg-500-home-defense-12-gauge-shotgun/p/p58194

Still not terrible, however. I like the combo model @RobP62 linked as it has two barrels; 2-in-1. A little pricey, but, that would be about the same or slightly less than two separate shotguns. Good option for sure.

Oh, I also forgot that I want to move to a cordless dremel and return my dad's corded one to my mom's house. I have been wanting to do this for a while and, again, while the garage/tool setup is getting upgraded, might as well. Oh, the constant struggle of decided between tools and firearms (technically a tool too)...I plan on taking a break from the dating world regardless as it seems these girls are thirsty for a holiday season relationship to receive gifts and show their families they're not spending another holiday season single and alone. I ain't about that life unless they're gifting me anything Milwaukee brand. "This garage update project sponsored by Hinge, Bumble etc."

Cool shit > dates...the return on investment will always be greater on tools, firearms etc...always pick cool shit.

Well, you said Trap/Hunt and that's possible with a short barrel but more effective obviously with the correct length. Best part is, you still get the same great base weapon with the same great features.

I have a knock off dremel and would like to have a proper one. They are just so damn expensive!

 Yea a multi tool is also on my list. I used one to do some drywall work to cut the sheets to fit and there's nothing like it. It made it so easy to do.

I'm sure the boss thing is temporary so capitalize on it now while you can. :fistbump:

Apparently, once I changed the title of the build thread Sunday or whatever it was, this is now working. 48+ hours and everything is fine. Weird. Probably the mods way of telling me I needed to change the title a long time ago.

Whatever is was, glad it is now working as intended.

Can't go wrong with a Mossberg. Out of all my shotguns I always find my way back to the Mossbergs. (I have a few)

Apparently, I ordered these on 8/29, totally forgot about it and they showed up finally...I love surprises. Thanks archive.
