Do you mean it shudders when you are engaging (ie slipping) the clutch or do you mean it shudders and slips after you have fully engaged the clutch?

When engaging. Once it’s engaged it’s good to go.

Seems I have a similar issue to others here...After I shift into second and accelerate a little, it will violently buck/hesitate until I let off the gas for a moment, then I can continue as normal. Its not slipping, as rpms kind of bog down during this event. No idea how else to describe it though haha.

    Any thoughts?

Just curious….Anyone have any long term issues based on this thread? I get a similar shudder/ sound when first pulling out of the driveway… then it goes away. Similar in reverse as well. Not really worried about it but thought I would check to see if it could lead to any long term issues.

I get this when it rains. Flash rusting of the flywheel is my suspicion.

After it rains or cool mornings with a lot of fog, i will depress and release the clutch 3 or 4 times in neutral before taking off from the house. Not fast but not stupid slow either to remove the surface rust and add a little heat.

Same thing happens to your brake rotors.

When it's raining my truck just seems starved for air or something.

There is zero torque, even getting going in 1st or 2nd can be a chore and the truck chugs and lurches along.

    Not every rain, just most.
