    We’ve got a welder at our shop and he drinks strong straight black coffee all day in the 95+ degree weather while welding. I have no idea how he does it!

    Wife and kids and I went over yesterday to shoot our muzzle loaders and rifles getting ready for the end of the month. I just got done cleaning our muzzle loaders at work and noticed a couple pieces I made over the years. One is a scope riser for her gun so there was clearance for the hammer. I used a piece of 1" aluminum to match the barrel for the scope to sit on, took a 1" ball end mill and put a groove on the bottom to sit on the barrel.

    The second is a hammer extension for my Encore. A friend of mine ask me to make him one before I got my gun. I made him one out of stainless, it wouldn’t fire. The hammer was too heavy so I made one out of aluminum. Works good.
