I took this pic as soon as he got to the cabin, his tire touching dirt. And no this pic isn't photoshopped folks. Lol.

Sounds relaxing. My buddy's place, farm out front & the lake out the back. You can tell I'm a gearhead, I took pics of his garage and not the house lol.

70 SS454. That was another "Dave Jacobs deal" that I hooked him up with for $4000 back in 2010 or so. The guy wanted it out of his garage because he just bought a Nissan 370Z lol. Nice car that just needs some TLC.

Wow, what a wonderful weekend. I had a great time and wanted to thank everyone for making it was so much fun. Thanks again Dave, your hospitality knows no bounds. It was so much fun. I laughed the whole time and laughter is the best medicine. I needed this. What a great bunch of guys. I picked up some Royal Farms chicken on the way home, took a shower, ate and passed out before 10pm. The truck is still filthy and loaded, except for my weapons and comms. I might unload it and hit it with the pressure washer later.

Lead was flyin' when we got there. So, I was excited to begin. After I introduced myself to Dave’s aunt and uncle I made my way to the range.

My Hermano Tony made me a special target for my P80 build. Using the legend in the upper left-hand corner, and the tick marks, you can see how being closer to the center of the target meant how much fun I could have, and the farther away, the less fun Brian would have LOL.

    fKHsNRf_lFBhpkx-SlkwLlJRa0iztwKKzPJW3l_o_750087f1340e98914018f656f6191dc418b7771a.jpg

It was my first time with a handgun. Needless to say, Brian was getting very nervous. It was bad ass shooting a weapon that I built. Especially cool that Mason gave me some pointers that immediately helped. Brian thanked Mason too hehehehehe.

Russ brought his girl Blu. The absolute most chill dog I've ever seen. During the night, sitting around the campfire we started to hear howls and tree knocks. Dave told us that he had never heard these before. Being an unofficial Sasquatch investigator, I explained how these are traits exhibited by the elusive beast. How they like to travel with coyotes, and it was trying to encircle the camp, and could snatch anyone that ventured outside the light of the fire to take a piss. At first no one believed me but then Blu confirmed sasquatch was near. She calmly "woofed" twice (it was the only sound she made all weekend). She let the Squatch know she was there to protect us, then chilled.

No weekend at the cabin is complete without a nightly bonfire. Everyone appreciated the warmth (too warm for me).

Tony needed more fire so he grabbed his Blankie.

We bullshat, laughed, ate, drank and were merry. It was fantastic! By 1 am the sole survivors were just the Elders. Dave Brian and I tidied up the outside to move all the food inside (remember, Squatch was near). Then we hit the hay. Brian said Tony and I were sawing wood all night and at one point I got up to piss and found him on the couch. I felt bad. Then went back to bed. LOL

In the morning Pete brewed some coffee and toasted up the bagels. There were donuts and muffins. Some of the crazy campers had burgers on their bagel for breakfast. At around 11:30 those of us remaining decided we should go exploring before we left.

Most of you know how I spent 2.5 years to prepare the previous Inferno Sport for off-road activity. Then how it was all lost in that fucking accident. With a tremendous amount of support from my Tacomaworld family though, I was finally able to pull it off. The last time I did anything like this was back in 1979. Doing it my Tacoma with my Taco friends was way more fun!

I was thoroughly impressed with the Pro running on the skinny S/T Maxx 33s and just the stock suspension. I was only locked in lo for the one sketchy trail we took to get to the river. The rest of the time was 2wd. The whole experience was fukin' awesome sauce!!!!

There were a lot of stumps, downed trees and some small boulders hiding in the grass. We had some small trees to go over.

Yes it was a blast. My only regret was I didn't get a pic of Blu, glad you did and posted them. She definitely kept a eye & ear out into the night for us. Next time we need to spend more time on the trails & exploring.
