So I used a method I saw on here to replace my upa and lca bushings. I used energy suspension bushings so I had to press them out of the old casing. I got the first washer pressed off but when I pressed it the other direction to get the sleeve out. My return cup was about 1/8" to shallow and the press messed up the lip on the other side of the sleeve that will have to hold that washer on when the new bushing is pressed in. So when the press bottomed out, it sheered off more than half of the lip I need in order to bend over so the washer stays on. What do I do? Do I need a whole new sleeve and start over. Or can I get someone to put a couple of weld spots to keep it on? When the LCA is on, wont the bolts and nuts keep that washer on? How fukd am I?20201004_215412.jpg 20201004_215445.jpg 20201005_063402 1.jpg

I didn’t even mess with using ES, I bought the ES bushings kit and used everything but the LCA bushings. I went with the whiteline bushings. Super easy.

Yes, hindsight is 50/50 I think I would have gone with those other bushings. I didn't even realize I had 2 push them out of the shell like I had to. Damage Done, lesson learned. Hopefully.

I was definitely thinking that it would be okay. But was going to ask some advice. I can bend half of that flare on to the washer so it will stay on semi-permanent. But the second you tap it a bit, it comes off. So I was just hoping that when it's bolted in everything's going to sit nice and still.

I don't think that will work for two reasons. One I don't need it the flare out more, half of that flare is completely cut off so the metal is gone. And second of all I need every millimeter of metal to protrude out words so the flare can actually fit on it. Anymore recessed in the washer wouldn't be able to grab the flare.

I have my old ones still if it doesn’t work out for you.
