Where do the positive and negative cables hook up to as well as the relay box. Got some ditch lights finally and not feeling the need to pay someone to do it for me

 

Red goes positive on battery and black to ground the relay no idea.

Did it come with instructions? The cables are usually marked with signs like heirogliphics or emojis just match them up..even a cave man can do it.

 

Nope nothing. Wiring harness seems nice quality it’s the type of braided cable you have for your roof rack light bar

 

That I had, watch some utube it’ll help ya out immensely. That’s why I bought a spod makes wiring for dummies easy.

 

A ground is any metal surface (not painted or coated) that completes the circuit of positive to negative. You can just "ground" it at the battery - terminal.

The relay has a wiring diagram printed on it. It needs power (positive), a ground (negative) and another power or ground depending on the wiring diagram.
