Just like it sounds, really. Wheels try to steer themselves going over bumps, for me manifests itself in the steering wheel jerking a bit. In my experience generally results from not being able to adjust the stock UCAs for appropriate caster when lifting. To be clear, the truck is still driveable, just not handling like I want it to so I'll likely invest in adjustable UCAs.

Quite a few things at this point..
Ah, I totally know what you're talking about then. I get that on highways even in my mostly stock setup.

    Lots to come
the issue is the stock truck comes with very little caster. the closer to 0 you get the more it will be twitchy and jump with the road. most UCAs allow us to get it near 3 to 4 degrees where we like to see it. this makes the truck go down the road nice and straight without having your hands on the wheel

I agree that stock size tires look a little goofy after the lift and I'll probably go a bit bigger at some point but most days I don't even notice unless I start looking for it to look goofy, if that makes sense. Not super into the idea of significant trimming, will probably go to 275 70 r17 and hope I don't need to do much more than mudflaps and some other plastic.

Bump steering is when your front wheels hit a bump, the front wheels turn without your steering input.

OP - I have this custom kit with SPC UCA, Ext travel Icon coilover, 2.0 rears with a 2" block (for now). Can't say enough good things about this setup. My truck is the magnetic grey that's linked. I was on the fence about spending more and going beyond a budget (5100s) setup but wouldn't do anything differently if I could do it again.
