    A story:

Amoungest the chaos and roughness that is "trail clean up" comes a story of brotherhood and care and of a lost soul finally coming to rest in its rightful place.

A tender time was caught on film in a moment of frightening frenzy. Two men seen togeather for a split second showing kindness to a lost soul trying to find its way home. Pulled out of the thick sand with its orange coulour still somewhat intacted and tenderly transferred from a caring human hand to another only to finally find its resting place a top of a heap of garbage, 1 plastic bottle cap. From which bottle no one might ever find know and it dosent matter. What does matter is the human will to place things where they belong at any cost even if it means showing femininity that might not be seen again till a few beers come out (or a shot of diesel Ardbeg), but I digress... RIP little orange plastic bottle cap RIP. And to thoes brave souls that pluked the critter from the sandy soul, let your sister side out brother, with tears I say...... let your sister side out .......

    Then end

On my way out, I was airing up just before the last turn that has the yellow turn markings on it. The danger its a sharp turn corner, right before the Loggers shop.

Just as I finish airing up, a group of 4 or 5 4wheelers goes past real fast, like to fast.

I get to the corner, 2 of them are piled into each other, one on its side. My bet is they were drinking and racing to the Loggers shop. I wonder how often an ambulance has to go out there to tend to idiots who drink then decide its cool to drive.

I am often disgusted by the choices others make, which is why I do so much shit with just the wife and I.

Amongst all the garbage.....if anyone finds a license plate....from a trailer....would be greatly appreciative.

Even when I’m not there, I’m having to pay for trail repairs:p:anonymous:

Great job everyone! Hate I couldn’t of been there, but pretty proud of this club and the things we are accomplishing. I’m looking forward to being apart of the next one, and @Norilsk and I are already looking at ways we can raise money for next years cleanup!

    great job everyone!

Thanks all for being so welcoming, sharing equipment and expertise. I was proud to spend my weekend cleaning up and helping out. Thanks @Norilsk for organizing. Wheeling is a great way to escape the daily grind. Definitely coming back for more! I’m up in Sudbury right now sizing up all the rock faces seeing what the truck can handle :mudding:

Absolutely. The south trail is a hydro access trail and has been done by some Subaru’s. The great thing about ardbeg is there is a bit of everything for all levels. Obviously there is always risk, but if you take your time, ask for help, and watch others you can learn a lot out there and it’s a great place to gradually challenge yourself!

Just a comment on the south trail

I would love to see a suburu do that south trail out to kirkham road. Not saying it can't be dont but dam some spots are rough. Yes that 470 did it stock. Well 33"s and a factory lift of 2" and a good driver. I'm glad I did it to see how easy or hard it wawas we had a time when the rear suspension dropped at the rear and he knew it because he was hitting a lot so we stopped and checked.
Yesterday was raining high water and slick and we hit the bottom of our trucks a couple of times.
I want to do from kirkham to dogfish next.
I would not recomend a stock truck do that unless the driver doesn't mind the bottom rubbing and has a health sense of get er done.

Note I've.only done it once so it might be my imagination speaking hear;)

I wasn't thinking of myself at that moment. What mattered was the cap.
EXPAND THE CIRCLE AND KEEP MOVING.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Great job from everyone in collecting garbage. I couldn't believe the amount that we brought back.
Thanks @Norilsk for organizing a great event and taking the garbage home.

I was thinking next time i go up I'd love to do that. The obstacles change based on the direction your tackle them, might feel like a completely different track!
