Yes, install the boost connection before installing the manifold. I didn’t have time to install the gauge so I just capped it. I finally got around to installing my gauge tonight.

Do you think there would be any issues having 2.0 installed and running the SC as a place to start ?

if you floor it / go into boost on 2.0 files without any additional tuning you will absolutely risk blowing your engine.
Fuel / ignition / cam timing / airload / throttle / torque / etc all needs retuned.

I don't think that would be advisable. Not nearly enough fuel being delivered to the engine to account for the extra air from the SC... which means something will likely explode

10-4, that’s what I would expect. I was just intrigued when you commented about using 2.0 as a starting point. A theoretical starting point, which I’m very happy we have access to.

Would a dyno tuner be able to pull enough info during testing, to then be able to understand the tune differences between Maggy and 2.0? Presumably, they could then do a preliminary tune of 2.0 to make it safe to test then make modifications?

Log the Magnuson file with VF or TS and modify 2.0 accordingly.

Agreed, I was just wondering if they could get enough from logging the OBD to understand basic fueling patterns.

Actually, I haven’t used the vent mount yet. I’m planning to put my oil pressure gauge in the vent mount. I’ll post some pics once I install it. Been having some lower back issues the past couple weeks so things have been moving slowly.

I don't think I would be "testing" anyone's tunes without a wideband to make sure air/fuel are correct under boost

I bent the bracket 90* and put it here.

I mounted mine (not a JLT though) here using an existing m6 bolt hole and a bracket that was removed from the engine during the SC install

also it’s relatively simple to get the old boost plug out and install a 90° fitting to put your boost gauge on even if you don’t do it during install. You just have to remove the 3 bolts and 1 nut holding on the main wiring harness on and lift it out of the way a couple inches.
I’m reading 7psi max and 2.5psi the instant I full throttle from idle with the brass restrictor removed.

I like the placement of the oil separator, I have a 2nd battery in that spot so it doesn't work for me though.
You removed the brass restrictor completely ? I opened mine up to 1/16" and it comes on much faster and at about 3/4 throttle.
I'm only getting about 4psi of boost total though (at 6500ft ASL).
How do you like the gauge mount ? I'm looking at Wideband O2 sensor setups, Innovate has a dual Wideband gauge but I'm having trouble finding an exhaust y pipe that tucks up and already has bungs in place for the sensors (I'm lazy and don't want to weld in my own).
