There's an admin feature that's even cooler. It's called forced ignore with the option to put someone on ignore for all users...

    I enjoy sports.

I don’t plan my day around it but if I’m loading I’ll watch.

Unless it’s Michigan football... my wife swam there so die hard. She was there when Michael Phelps swam there too. He gave her freshman year roommate an std. haha. He was apparently a little wild back then.

Looking for help....i started a thread in the audio threads but thought to ask local also.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/need-rear-camera-steering-wheel-controls-help.688609/

Im having problems with my steering wheel controls and rear view camera ony 3rd gen. In short, i have stock jbl system. Switched out head unit to aftermarket android head unit and everything worked great.

Installed a full stereo system and now the rear view camera doesn't trigger when shifting into reverse and steering wheel controls dont work. FYI, i can manually turn on the rear view camera, it just doesnt trogger when shifting into reverse.

I even hooked up the stock jbl radio and the rear view camera and steering controls still dont work.

Not sure what to look for to try and fix this problem.

You need something like Maestro for the steering wheel controls. You probably also need to check your wiring.

The andriod stereo was working fine with the stock jbl system.

when you switched from the stock JBL to the android HU did you have to use a new harness?

Yes, used a new harness for the android HU which included a canbus. When i switched over the the android HU everything worked fine. However, after adding the amps and speakers for the audio install, i cant get the reverse camera to trigger on or my steering wheel controls to work. My rear view camera will work if manually turn it on.

I’ve never done an audio install myself but I feel like there might be somewhere where a wire got spliced on accident that turns on your reverse trigger wire for the backup since it doesn’t work only when going into reverse. Steering wheel controls might also be a doozy. Is there a fuse that is only for steering wheel controls?

I have a feeling there might be some loose wires on the back of a harness somewhere...I hate electrical

Ive triple checked everything. I even put to stock radio back in and still no reverse camera vis the trigger or steering controls.

Im thinking it has to be a fuse but not sure what fuses to check.

It will take less time to test them all. Use the holes in the top of the fuse and you don’t have to pull them.

I think it's been that way for at least a year. That's been my experience, anyway.
