3.4L supercharger

    Because our blowers are positive displacement superchargers, they have a volume associated with them, the volume moved per revolution. This is about 1 Liter for the sc. Therefore do you guys think it would be reasonable to call our engines 4.4L 5VZ-FZE

    I mean, I've already got fuel spraying into my supercharger via the 7th injector, why not add a little spark and see how it goes lol

    Volume of air in the engine per revolution, a positive displacement blower moves more air and though it is 3.4L in the engine, it is at a much higher pressure. At 1 atm, it should be around 4.4L

    Er then you’d have different displacements at different altitudes. Volume of physical limits of combustion chambers for all cylinders determines engine displacement. For poop and laughter you could say 4.4 haha

    TRD S/C, ADS coilovers.
    For one the rotors of a supercharger do not make one rotation every time the engine is on an intake stroke. At 5500RPM this S/C is turning at 13,000 rpm.

    The CFM of air entering and leaving the supercharger decreases as you build boost. This is part of the equation for overall supercharger efficiency.

    Next is that the displacement of and engine is determined by the bore and stroke. Not by how much “air” is entering the combustion chambers. A supercharger cannot change the physical limitations of an engine.

    Hey i have a question about vacuum hose routing with the 1st gen (gray) supercharger. How did you guys plumb in the VSV that goes to the power steering? I have another VSV that was previously mounted on the back (towards the cab) on the upper plenum? And then there is a vacuum connection on the charger right after the throttle body? Pics would appreciated! @1997tacomav6 Ill tag you since i know you have a 1st gen charger and a ton of knowledge on this stuff :)

    I will check tomorrow, BUT I have an EGR setup so mine might be different.

    Here is the vsv hose to the supercharger.

    There are two metal tube in the back of the supercharger.

    One goes as shown from the VSV to the one metal tube facing the VSV.
