Has anyone with this canopy tried to debadge the "rsismartcap" branding from the sides and rear door?

I “debadged” one side so far. Will do the other side and rear eventually.

@Aaronparker001 yeah I ended up putting the switch next to the outlet in the bed. The light switch connects with the tail light so I'm sure if you buy a longer wire for your connection from the tail light to the switch you could put it inside the cab.

Not sure I'd want to walk to the cab every time I wanted to turn that switch on or off. Looks like a nice setup.

@acupunk Yeah I get what your saying... I just kinda followed the instructions that the lights came with and thats where they suggested to put the switch. And when you think about it, when your gonna use the inside of the camper shell your probably gonna be back there anyway and not in the cab so you don't want to walk back and forth all the time to turn it on and off. But aesthetically another switch in the cab would be cool.

It’d honestly be nice to run like a dual switch. When I drive at night it would be nice to flip a switch on in the cab to check on the dog. If I’m just grabbing something from the bed a switch in the bed would be ideal.

@Aaronparker001 that's true man, it's all about what you use the bed for so you got a good point.

This looks great!!! Is it just a vinyl sticker that peals off?

@thebaker you are correct. I used a little goo off to remove the residue follow by some soap and water.

The latches are actually installed after the vinyl so I carefully scored around them to make it easier for myself and not risk damaging the rubber seal of the latches

Great pic of the long bed and where it meets the tailgate. How is the gap / where do you have the front of the cap sitting? Did you have to cheat to get it to match up better than the short cab cap?

I think this would help make the long bed version look more proportional to the door.

Also, hows the view in the rear view mirror? Does the placement of the side windows block a lot? Do you feel the placement would be better if the side windows were moved closer to the tailgate or cab?

The rear view is excellent. I wish the window was longer purely for a access perspective.

I actually didn't cheat it backwards at all. I pushed it all the way to the front as far as it would go.

You're making this extremely difficult for me. I'm trying not to buy this, but all the reviews seem positive. Hopefully my refi comes though quick enough to take advantage of the free shipping. That will probably be the deciding factor. Thanks for your help!

@e6400ultra here is the long bed without the decal... learn from my mistake and take your time... I put a nice gash in the side...ugh so irritating.

That middle picture played tricks on me. The reflection of a tree(?) in the back made me think you had a crack from the latch to the porthole. Nearly shit my pants for you. Considering what I thought was the damage, that third picture doesn't look that bad after all.

That would have absolutely made me cry. I found some matte black touch up paint that made it disappear.
