    Too much.
Marv builds these so they fit correctly. Usually the only thing you need to remove is the child latch behind the seat, and a couple of stand-offs.

I removed the stand off's with mine. I'm on pause due to the rear vents taking on a little water...:-(

Infinity Bass Link X 10" sealed with integrated amplifier, nothing crazy, nothing special but it provides a nice solid bump for $75 bucks.

Relocated it center as believe it or not having it on one side was more in the way and it has a good projection there without being damped by the seats at all.

Moved it up onto a wooden bracket and mounted my trail radio under it after I took water in the cabin off roading once. Sub got wet but no issues yet.

Best mod was the remote bass knob I got out of a civic in the junk yard so I can turn it down, sometimes it's too much.

Just wish my stock door speakers and tweeters could keep up.

About 2k for everything . I got most everything for wholesale

yeah took out the seat backs because the subs would hit when banging. Installed covers to protect it. Didn’t have to shim anything, just cut the child seat locks off and removed all the seats when installing . As for the sound deadener i didn’t remove the vent, just installed around them.

I got my Kicker L7T 10" 2 ohm to fit perfectly behind the seat with the storage cubby out. I took off the back panel of the seat to give a little extra clearance for the sub to flex.

I plan on removing the insulation and doing dynamat or whatever brand to replace it.

I'm running a Skar Audio 800.1 mono under the drivers seat to power it. This thing bumps! its not as good as having a ported 12" to hit the lower notes, but still does really really well. I am impressed!

Sounds pretty good.. I'm still tidying things up.. I'll have to take some more photos as it looks much more presentable now.. I had my doubts with the shallow subs..but they hit just as hard as the P3 D4 10' i had in the last truck.

The box came from sound off audio.

Recently installed a 2 subwoofer box behind the back seat. I had a local audio shop wire the system and was told that I would significantly impede performance and/or damage subwoofer since they were touching the rear seat panel.

Since my options were limited I cut out the bottom of the backside plastic rear seat panel which provided an additional couple of inches for the subwoofer cone. I initially purchased subwoofer grilles thinking they would protect the subwoofer cone but was told they would push into the cone if the rear seat was touching the grille.

FYI here is a part list if anyone is interested. Very happy with the sound quality from the upgraded speakers and additional bass from the subwoofers. After some research I was told that Image Dynamics provides a high quality product at reduced price compared to the other top name brands.

Front: Image Dynamics CXS64 Component Speaker

Rear: Image Dynamics CTX65 Coaxial Speaker

    JL Audio HD900 5 channel amp $850

    Image Dynamics IDQ12V4 x2 subwoofers $500

    Dual Subwoofer box $150

Installing dynomat sound dampening sheets to the floor and door panels is worth the additional time and $ if investing in aftermarket sound system IMO. Hopefully I will be adding dynamat to the roof in the near future.

You can get spacers for the rear seats.. I moved mine forward about an inch with them. The go on the bolts and before the seat to push it out. You can only go so far "forward" with them before you have to change the angle of the latch bracket. You can also put the same spacers on the seat bottoms to keep the rear seating position as close to original.

Or you can stack a ton of washers.. Either way .. you are going to need longer seat bolts.

So far so good, just need to clean up some of the wiring and lock in the settings and sounddeading the doors and 3 inch strip on back above box. Did have to remove back wall insulation and backseat plastic, no big deal really, just makes it lighter lol. Factory deck, Alpine 4x50 hideaway amp, kicker speakers plus suby tweet, rockford 500 amp, lc7i
and 2x jl 10" subs. Won't wake up your neighborhood but it's nice and tight

You put 2x12's in there. Damn I thought 2 10's was overkill. How's that tightness with those? By the way that plastic on back of seat just pops off after you remove 2 little screws.
