    I dunno - it seems to fit. Pre-spice Paul was angsty as hell; he'd been having visions of his father and war and Chani and all kinds of crap. Plus his whole life is preparation of becoming Duke of House Atreides.

    Then he takes the water...and it's on like Donkey Kong. Stay TF out of his way.

    Even Kyle played him angsty in the 1984 movie.

    Yeah, the 1984 movie wouldn't have made much sense to anyone who hadn't read the book (even those who did read the book were a bit Wut?)

    If they're splitting this one into 2 movies, they may be able to lay a better foundation to the story.

    Yes, and I do feel like they made them look like they buzz. I did also appreciate the strikes shown on the shields in orange and a failing shield shows as red.

    Also, I would just like to confess that I have been pronouncing Villeneuve's name wrong. It's been Dennis Villanova in my head this whole time. :anonymous:

    They haven't even begun filming part 2. I think that Denis is going to let the cast age a bit (thanks to COVID) so that they'll accurately portray the several years separation from the Atreides/Harokkonen war to the beginning of the crusade.
