My Tabuk stock made it to the refinisher! Now just a couple more weeks and I'll be rocking a new wood set

She did great shooting and has been carrying it in her purse. However she still doe sent feel comfortable with a Bullitt in the chamber. Trying to get over that hurdle

Good luck! In the end, if she is more comfortable without than with OIC, that may be the most practical method for her. It's better to be comfortable and adept than uncomfortable and nervous if that situation arises.

This may be a long shot, but does anyone have some OD green Magpul MOE Ak furniture they would be willing to sell/trade for gray?

Liking using my recently built gun cleaning/work station. Some tinkering tonight. Mounted up some new Warne 1" low rings on my Savage 220 and found some inexpensive ($60) polymer sights that fit under my scope on my FN/Bushmaster(original)/AAC/Magpul/BCM AR. :D

Personally I prefer to keep my whiskey and my shooting separate.

Nifty sling! Call me old fashioned, but I prefer a 2-point sling, so I can wrap my arm through for supported firing in kneeling and standing positions.

Sexy! What is she? And is that a slip-on elastic butt-pad? I never knew those were a thing.

So, out of curiosity.....there are two schools of thought....keep it hot and ready or hope the sound of pumping a shell into the chamber will be enough to scare off an intruder. To which do you subscribe?
For the record, I keep mine hot, not particularly feeling the need to warn anybody .

The locked door was the warning. What follows is the consequence.

It's a Remington 870 with a Limbsaver slip on recoil pad. I shut my truck door on my shotgun a few years back and ripped the factory one off.

Locked and loaded, always. My carry pistol is to fight my way to my shotgun.

I would advise against keeping one in the chamber. Shotguns aren't like ARs and handguns where they can survive a drop test. Shotguns are known to go off with one in the chamber. Have it in the ready to cock position is safer than leaving one in. Just food for thought
