yeaahhh, that'll never happen. Dunces will never learn. Also my sup and I found out someone made off with one of our brand new tools, so gonna find out who let that happen. Also, on a related note, I want to know the kind of person who comes to use my computer to look something up while I'm at lunch, then when I come back and they leave, they don't close their tab, but the whole browser with everything I was using. Great stuff

Well I don't like that one bit!! Put up a new browser window or a few as a safety precaution when you leave maybe? Also, why the hell would someone jack the tools? Won't you guys have that on video somewhere?

I used to work at GAP a billion years ago and even then we weren't allowed to confront anyone stealing. I once had an entire shelf of shirts swiped in my section while a co-worker and I were on shift. I remember coming out to put a shirt back and was like wtf everything's gone? Ugh, I hated that job.

 

Maybe disable per GPO by the sounds of it!

I once got in trouble for wearing Levi's at work because you could see the little red tag and we weren't allowed to wear any alternative brand distinguishable clothing. They were going to send me home but I had basically told them I wouldn't come back for my shift if I did so I stayed.

My wife was in retail for many years, she's glad to be out of it.

 

I don't recall rules on the footwear but that wouldn't have been a thing.

I refused to upsell people on the credit cards so I stuck to fitting rooms and stocking. It was my one and only retail job, thankfully.

 

She was a manager at Kmart (not sure if there were credit cards back then)

Random story....I had a few barbies that I donated to @MyWyfsRnnr daughter before our move and one was a USAF barbie that I wasn't aware was worth a bit more than its original $14.99 sticker (or whatever it was). Someone was not going to be convinced to keep her unopened
