have 2019 taco SR 2.7L 2wd double cab 5 ft bed model...
SR came with factory 16x7 steel wheels.
ordered factory tacoma 16x7 aluminum wheels.

question: can i use the same TPMS (tire pressure monitoring sensor) that i have on my steel wheels and use them on my new aluminum wheels?
or so i have to buy new ones for aluminum wheels? look @ picsstl69459.jpg ALY75191U30.jpg

for what I've been told if you rotate them to fit alloy wheels they kind of stick up a little and the person mounting the tire or taking it off has to be very careful not to break it off with the tire removing machine... regardless not sure if that's true but I'm going to buy new ones...

There is another part number that can be used for alloy rims but most people just flip the Tpms around to save money.

Wise choice in getting the proper TPMS for your wheels.

The steel TPMS if rotated on alloy rims does stick out beyond the rim, making them fragile if you get a flat tire or shake loose.
