Replaced the reverse bulb with these LED ones. They look brighter. It should help since my new tails are covered with a black lense.

I prefer black but whatever floats your boat. It's different. Something about the red looks washed out. Could be the picture. Makes me wonder how maybe a deep pearl blue, or white, or cement might look. Yellow? Cool.

Thank you. Just checked and my truck is on the recall list. Just made an appointment. I would have thought Toyota would have sent me a letter.

I have done the ECT always on, from ebay. No problems, and super easy install.

Y'all could get tuned (ovtune/vftuner) to make your primary driving mode perfect and then add a specialized option for that ECT button (lear gearlock for towing).
If it seems overwhelming to get all the software, hardware, and learning curve, or to do a wiring ECT always on mod, there are some folks near you who might be able to help you out.

No, it's an actual Made in Japan OEM emblem that attaches to same spot where the chrome one used to be. The original one clipped in place, this one is a 3M backing.

@b3itz was the install easy? I have the side by side battery setup and my full cap is real close.

    Thanks!

super easy - it's just 2 bolts. Either a flex head ratcheting wrench will do it, or a deep socket. I guess you could get it with a crescent wrench if you had to
