The small center rod is only used for the smallest punch (just over 1”). The large rod is used for the rest of the kit. I used the small punch the most out of the kit so I’m not entirely surprised. It’s a good kit. I actually bought a second one and broke the same rod after a slider build so it may have been that 11ga was just too much for it despite what they advertise.

    Lisle pipe stretcher (#34400), $40.
Pittsburgh hydraulic punch driver kit (#56411), $80.
Expanding exhaust pipe without using an impact, priceless.

First test piece, I went a little too far not realizing how easy this thing expanded the pipe. But, that's why I test first. I will make a bracket for the table to hold the piston and another to hold the pump.

Found a piece of pipe and a couple pieces of angle iron in my scrap bin. Made a stand for the cylinder so I don't have to hold it while expanding pipe. I think it turned out pretty well.

Probably no more than usual. The Covid thing interrupted the supply chain. I found the same issue with the predator engines.

Covid has destroyed supply chains for a lot of things. Appliances, cheap chinese import shit (aka harbor freight!), gym equipment, everything else! We went to Bed Bath and Beyond because my wife has been bitching about new towels for a while, and their bedding department was decimated. Got new towels though. It is actually

Honestly last time I went in HF the shelves looked like they were going out of business.

Ok where are we on the predator inverter generators?

    2000 dual setup
    Or
    3000 stand alone

Moving into the hurricane zone... I know they won’t run the house’s hvac but hopefully I can run the ceiling fans, bathroom lights and the refrigerator.

From what I read the fridge only needs about 6 amps but 21 amps on inrush.

    Thoughts?

3000W is 25amps at 120V. Enough for the fridge, a few fans, a couple of lights (leds), etc.
