Reading trans temp on 1st gen

    Anyone in here figure out how to get a scan gauge to display the trans temp? This is what I’ve tried:

    I used that to get my trans temps on my scan gauge 2. Make sure you put it exactly as shown and do not put any spaces.

    I have always recorded my best MPG at elevation. My theory is that air is less dense at higher altitude (fewer oxygen molecules for a given volume) -- this is measured by the MAF and the fuel injection compensates by injecting less fuel in order to keep the AFR correct. The truck is down on power but burns less fuel; some of the gains are negated by the mountainous topography. Currently in CO averaging indicated 22mpg.
