OVTune Help

I could not find the same error I am having referenced in other posts and would appreciate guidance.

2020 Tacoma 3.5L

I followed all guidance and watched the video a couple more times to make sure, but after I have opened the P5 Flash utility and identified my ECU (04B80) I selected all options as shown in photo, even tried it with different fuel and beta, but getting the message at the bottom of the flash manager when I hit download "Error downloading file C:/users/michael/OVTuned Flash Manager/tunes/2.0/sid_04B80_2.0_Reg_Beta4.88.p5f". Same error with minor differences for the other options mentioned.

Did that one too. Emailed in all the info per another little different set of instructions I just found and I guess I will wait until they send me the tunes.

 

That pony express is slow, thought maybe a fix on here so I could get this done tonight.

think you are trying to download from the wrong source. and be sure you have downloaded and installed the tactrix drivers. Help. Update. after you have gone to source page for pf5 2.0 final tunes. ?? follow the link and instructions for downloading files.

Are you sure that you have the latest FM version?

Usually not being able to download Base is an indication that the last version of FM is needed.

It’s in FM for the MT trucks (except 04b14). No 2.0 AT files are there, need to get them from the blog post

 

Thank you. I dont think the instructions or video kept up with the work. Was able to get it flashed now and from what I read just ignore the instructions for TCU update as that is included as part of the ECU flash now.

I'm not the most computer literate, but it started after I was done so I'm going to sleep OK and find out how it worked in the morning.

Thank you again for the guidance; knew TW could fix it.

I hate to dig up an old post, but I am having the same issue. The problem is the tunes have been removed from that blog post, and the link to dow load the latest version of the FM says "access denied" when I try to click it. Anyone have any tips on where to get the latest copy of FM?

 

Yes. Things have changed since the last posts.

Flash Manager is dead as is the 2.0.Base Full P5F files from the OVT Blog. You have a couple options:

-- Upgrade to vF. You can get a Tune Pack for you ECU. Message @OVTune for details.
-- Hang tight. A free update to a program like Flash Manager had been promised. It is not released yet. ​
