    I am switching to led for my third brake light my truck is a 2010 with factory rear led brake lights , would I need can-bus?

    No can-bus on the 3rd brake light. Swapped mine out with led's. Turn signals are the only issue when switching to led's.

    Not stupid, can bus is when the truck thinks the bulb is burned out and hyper flashes because LEDs don't draw a lot of current less resistance.
