    It’s freaking miserable, lost my dad Xmas 2018 to prostate cancer. I was the one who had to decide at what point to increase meds to the point of no return.

    I liked both SH and DLR, different styles of music/singing.

    but i can see why people dont like one or the other.

    Either way, I didn't get into classic rock until about 5 years ago and Van Halen was #1 on that list where Id do anything to see them live.

    I do like Sammy I just prefer DLR . First time I heard VH was the day after the first album came out and my friends and I could not believe it was just one guitar .. I was 16 .

    I saw Eddie play in Sacramento in 1993. I think he was having an issue with his hip, because he didn’t move around much on stage. He just stood there and played and it was awesome! Other than getting hit in the face with Sammy Hagar’s sweat band, it was a great show. One I’ll never forget.

    I was lucky to see them in '80, still in a podunk town but had hit big. They were too drunk though. DLR busted his ass at least twice.
