What an educated response  of course I would expect that from you. You're a great friend.

I'm hoping I can get more range time to use what you taught me and practice some more. Just need this damn ammo shortage to end!

    Thanks again Mason! <3 :fistbump:

I like the Benelli a lot. It truly is a solid weapon. If money were no object I'd own a M4 right now. Hell, even the older M2 for that matter. I'm just not sure I need to spend twice as much for a shotgun that's primary purpose is a home defense weapon though.

I definitely want semi-automatic for the reduced recoil but also for speed. The Mossberg and Remington tactical shotguns though get the military's and LEO seal of approval so I don't have to look any farther.

Each of these has it's own merits but like I said previously, ease of operation goes to the SPX over the Express because of the safety and slide release placement. Knowing I can hand it to Deb saying "just aim and pull the trigger" is huge.

There's a plethora of easy bolt on aftermarket modifications for both but the SPX comes with the picatinny rail already on it. I'll be able to mount my Olight with a side mounted adapter. Add a sling, a cartridge carrier and maybe a Holson red dot and your done.

As most reviewers say, it's ready to go right outta the box. It also holds 2 more shells than the Benelli too so there's that.

After I get the SPX I may look at a tactical rifle but that's farther down the road. For now the Mossberg is my primary interest.
