I will definitely join up next time!

My buddy and I had fun in Wharton, barely used 4X4, but our trucks sure got muddy, haha! Sure am proud of my truck, and I think I impressed a few people out there. My buddy's truck was like the truck they used in Top Gear, and they were right, it will take a lot to stop them, lol!

Damn, I figured everyone went today and I missed it so I promised to help a friend change his tranny fluid tomorrow (he doesn't know how). He's supposed to be at my house around 2:30 so that'll kill pretty much the whole day being it gets dark at 5 or so. Out of curiousity, is Stokes actually a legal place to offroad? I'd be game to go next weekend on either day if you guys want to set something up. As long as nobody else would care, my friend would most likely come. He's got a '99 Wrangler on 30" BFG M/T's.

Yeah, that's one of the places I was yesterday. Picked up a toolbox for myself and for a friend (his Christmas present from his girlfriend.)

hows the toolbox? i was thinking about going to get one today. seems real narrow though so im not sure how much i could get in there. for example, could i get my med. sized chain saw in there? or say two tents and two duffle bags?

Toolbox is "narrow" (12 inches wide)... I can get my 16" Husqy and the old 18" Homelite X2 in it without issue. I'm sure you could finagle the tents and at least one dufflebag.. depends on the size of the duffles.. and the size of the tents. :) I got the slim line because I've got a double cab, so my bed is only 5 1/2 feet to begin with.. don't want to loose the entire bed to a box. :)
The regular size compact tool box is way too much for my blood anyway.. around $200 I think.

I need to get the grip rite no drill mounts for it, don't want to have to drill the bed of the truck if I don't have too.
