dam so before you guy'z get sidetracked again....i had the intermediate shaft replaced by dealer last week for the steering problem and front diff seals.....1 day after i get it back it starts squeaking somewhere up front in the steering.....
now 6 days later she is screaming every time i turn the wheel.....
i can stand outside the truck and push the sus down no squeak.....
go in the truck and turn the wheel side to side and she is screaming.....
any ideas for the second time??????
dont make me post a new thread for this.....
as i want to get this resolved today......as im off

 

Yes. Yes she did.

 

Jack the front end up and.check your ball joint, tie rod ends and gte rest of the steering. With the front end off the ground and your big ass head in the wheel well it will be easier to find the problem. Try it with the engine off.

Then go trade that lemon in.

this truck is out to get me i swear.....if its not one thing its another.....
just when the leaf squeak went away....it just shifted to the front now.....
dam i need a much louder radio now......

idk it sounds like rubbing squeaking....idk
i would have rather had the loose steering with the clunking than the screaming squeak

 

our old camry was low on power steering fluid and it would squeak. but nothing like what you mention.

 

have you tried looking under the dash while you turn the wheel to see if the sound is coming from in the cab or under the dash or under the hood?

almost soiunds like someone moved my leaf spring to the front cause they scream as well.....
oddly tho they stoped screaming lately....

 

have you tried lubing the connections and any place that supports the steering?

 

i havent done shit...but turn the radio up louder......

just washed all the mud off her this morning and dam its cold out.....

funny story go to the power wash place in town put my 6 tokens in the machine.....nothing happenes i press all the buttons nothiung try punching the dam thing ......people start looking at me......
then im ready to go get an attenedant and then i see a sign 8 tokens for machine

hmmm. Sounds familiar. Scott must have missed my post. I don't think he even needs to jack the truck up. I'd try it first without and just turn the wheels slightly with them on the ground.
