Yeah I know, and you guys are not only putting out some long needed, innovative stuff for these trucks, but it’s top notch quality as well. Sorry if I’ve come across as cheap or trying to haggle with you guys, (I am cheap sometimes) I wasn’t, just the last year of watching this thread and having a little bit of shit talking and what not back and forth gives a buddy buddy kind a feeling so I’m just giving you a hard time. That said, Jesse said another week or so for the tc pump and associated parts pricing so I’ll give the shop a call in an hour or so to at least get the slide rack and gussets paid for and on their way. If the pump stuff takes longer than expected that can always get added later

I think...hope you are trying to be funny.

    To everyone:

JD Fab is making available to us mortal folk the goods and knowledge that go into full blown race trucks, REAL prerunners and bespoke custom work for luxury builds. This is not your average "group buy".

Keyboard warriors, funny pun posters, unfollow this thread. I've absolutely had it with the inane questions. Like a post, enjoy the pics and be thoughtful. This is all supposed to be fun and enjoyable not a word salad safari to wade through.

If you are on the fence and worried about a little discount in order to buy, this is not the place. Head over to the mass produced vendors and marketplaces.

This kinda shit is why the top fab shops don't hang out on forums. They don't need this nonsense. Trust me when I say there's a line of folks with cash in hand waiting for an opportunity to get their trucks in JD's shop or ordering parts because we understand what the f we're doing.

    /end rant

Damn dude. If 81Trekker was working on my truck, I wouldn't be ranting about jack squiddily. Life is good man! People are losing their jobs, fires are consuming homes, and people are dying every fucking day this year and we're lucky enough to be farting around with truck stuff. I get what you're trying to say but maybe don't fun police the squawkers who need a break from life to come here and dream about something other than the very real shit going on outside their doorsteps.

See previous post. I apologized if it came off wrong. It’s the internet and after a year+ of bumping elbows in here and some sarcasm back and forth I was just continuing the trend with anticipation of actually ordering stuff from them finally. The internet is a tough crowd so sorry I’m a part of it. Looking forward to seeing the results of your truck, but for now, it’s time for me to call JD and get them some of my money

I got a chuckle out of it simply for the golf reference. That to me made it seem more like a sarcastic joke more than anything

off topic threads is what you are looking for. I am not the fun police, I am trying to keep JD doing this stuff and you all are pissing away an opportunity and in typical stupid primate fashion, you won't realize what is what before its gone. The more time 81trekker takes answering BS is less time he is working on my truck, and delays the next person getting their truck in, the person behind them, etc etc. If you want to BS then pay JD for their time and think about what you are asking.

    tire kickers can gtfo.

exactly, this isn't the first time and needs to stop.

its all I am gonna say on this. so you all have been informed and you are absolutely free to carry on as usual, but you know the consequences and think about the person behind you that would love to have access to JD fab and their products.

I’m always happy to answer any and all questions guys, I do this because I love it. The only issue I have is when people start grinding on price. We have tried really hard to create unique products at an affordable price point. There aren’t huge margins in this stuff and it’s all very labor intensive.

I apologize if I offended anyone I have just had quite a few people lately trying to make lowball deals.

Back on topic I’ll leave you with some of this mornings latest weld porn...

well one was a thank you for the updates when they don't have to, and theres almost 90hrs of labor on my work order, and it's an inside joke with Harry and I. Unless I'm reading things differently yes it's appropriate to respond when he jokes about asking if they are working fast enough etc.

Plunk down your money and join the club.

Iv already made my purchase of a long travel kit from JD fab does that mean I can joke around on this thread or is this only for grumpy people who are worried about how soon their truck is gonna be done. Chill out man, I get it the Op doesn’t like people low balling or short changing him. But this thread was suppose to be informative and cool, but apparently it’s just old men complaining now.

Yes you can be now and I plunked down my money this morning so I can again too.

90hrs of labor lol. Wait till you see what we have in store to fit these 37’s on my Elantra with minimal trimming. Harry and the boys over there are gonna have their work cut out for them.
