    had a lot of discussions about this in the past. The bed bars your getting will act as a stiffener itself. Its mainly the camper shells that cause issues with bed separating. I got stiffeners for add insurability but probably wasn't needed.

    No but I have added the decked system too. I feel better safe than sorry but, I still haven’t purchased. Lol! I have had RTT on for two years now and I don’t take off. It lives on there. I don’t care about this or that. I like the fact it’s ready to go and that’s why I got the decked. Last time I went camping was the easiest pack up we have had. Trimming down a little more and hopefully always ready to go except a couple of things.
