Thanks, that helps, something is better than nothing. Should be pretty painless for my 5k since they're not even doing an oil change. Would you happen to know if that's Michael Lewis or Michael Castro? Coincidentally I was about to go with Mike L cause I found him on google listed as the Assistant Service Manager with lots of past experience beyond his current 6.5 yr stint at Poway Toyota.

Jose in Toyota of Escondido is who I go to and he's an off-roader.

Nice, I'll keep Toyota of Esco in mind, a bit further for me but good to know he's an enthusiast, thank you!

Turns out Toyota of Esco is a little further but time wise is about the same and in some cases shorter so looks like I'll be going to see Jose as well! Thanks everyone for the input, I'll be a lot more at ease knowing my baby is in good hands while at my least favorite place in the world

I live in Santee. In 2004 I bought a new TRD Off-Road from Toyota of Escondido, then bought my current Taco in 2017 from them as well. Always received the best price at Toyota of Escondido. I have never had a problem with their Service Department. They handled most of my Toyota Care services and also some warranty repairs on my 2017 Taco.

Escondido is a little bit of a drive for me, but I don't mind. Their repair work has always been very good, and Jose is a great Service Advisor. Jose Anguiano (760) 796-3949.

The Toyota of El Cajon Service Department has been good too.

I used Quality Powder Coating in Chula Vista. I’ve also heard good things about Powder 1 in El Cajon but don’t have any first hand experience.

Powder 1 did my sliders for me for 1/3 of the price (quoted like 4 different shops) and for half the turnaround time as the other shops. Customer service was awesome. I'd totally go back to them for anything.

Anocote in Miramar. They did my sliders and C4 bumper. Super friendly and reasonable costs. It was years ago, but I think I paid $120 for sliders and $150 for the slimline bumper.

x2. I use them for my metal finish all the time at work. Some of the best prices in the SD area and high quality. I haven't used them for powder yet. They have 2 different job type locations. You want to check out Anocote powder.

I've read through this thread and see people have had luck with Firestone in PQ and San Marcos, has anyone gone recently and is this still the case?

I'm getting tired of paying $100 per alignment, so looking to just invest in the Firestone lifetime.
