That looks awesome! I think they will look just as good on the MGM 4 Runner

Funny you said that because before I bought those wheels, I went to a dealership and asked if they have them. They told me to check out the MGM 4 runner with those wheels sitting on their lot. Never hesitated for a sec and bought them wheels.

Are they really matte? I thought they had like a satin finish.

I’d say it’s more matte, a very dull finish, has zero shine it it, really, but I like it. I wanted something different than what I was used to.

Haha, will do, except these are going on a GX460, I actually just sold my 2005 Tacoma a couple weeks ago. Gonna miss that truck, 15 years and 220,500 miles with almost zero problems.

Hoping the new wheels will make it less soccer mom-ish!

Yeah, I'm sure you'll miss the truck. The GX460 is nice and the new wheels/tires should help with the soccer mom-is look. Post a pick curious to see how it will look.

Here’s what the original Pro 4Runner rims looks like on a GX460. Really transformed the look of the Lexus. And they weigh just over 25lbs so it looks like the new and old rims weigh about the same. I ended up going with the new Taco Pro rims which only weigh 21lbs or I would have never put the 4Runner rims on the GX. Although I do like the new 4Runner rims a little better so would have probably have upgraded to them if the Taco Pro rims weren’t so much lighter.

Very nice! I think I’m going to like them on mine. Do you have any concerns with the lighter wheels going on a 6,000# vehicle? That would be my only concern on putting them in a GX.

How do you like those Kenda tires? I keep seeing more and more of those, but was going to go with Wildpeaks, as that seems to be the gold standard on GXOR.

You also need to trim those side steps and put them back on! Haha. I plan to do that eventually when I add sliders down the road.

Yeah sliders are next but couldn’t wait any longer to take off the granny steps.

I think the Kenda’s would be a better choice for a GX than the Wildpeaks. I believe they are a little tougher and also a little more aggressive which is a big plus with these heavy rigs (a RT tire versus a AT). And I’ve never heard of anyone having any structural issues with the 4Runner Pro rims so I’m not concerned about any issues with them. And I think this size of tire (33/10.5) is about as large as you would want to go on these unless your planning on doing some work to make something larger fit. Just took a few minutes with a heat gun to get these to fit without any rubbing. A great size tire for the GX and the Tacos. Loved them on the Taco and even more so on the GX.

That is awesome, I’ll have to look into that tire. So I guess the RT is in between an AT and MT? Never heard of one before. Yeah, I was pretty much going to stick with 32’s (almost) so I can continue to use the stock spare location. Impressed you were able to get away with 33’s without the BMC, but maybe it’s due to you using a skinnier tire.

I got my 5th wheel this afternoon, so I’m going to try and decide on the tire and hopefully get some mounted in the next week.

Here’s some info on the tires and what convinced me to try them out.

Those look amazing. My concern is I didn’t really want to go E rated this time around. I’m seeing the 31.6” Wildpeaks at 47#, but can’t find any weight specs on the Kenda (even on their site...). I think if I was going to go E rated, I might consider them over the E rated Wildpeaks and KO2’s.

They also don’t seem to be carried by Discount Tire, so would have to order from Walmart or maybe Amazon.
