Looking at a used 2015 with 4" lift kit and wanted to know what you all think is a good lift height. Is there any issues with stability on the highway - high winds - while driving?

Test driving it will tell you more than anyone can guestimate. Lifting a vehicle(raising the center of gravity) always makes it less stable, but as far as the actual feel, just test drive it at highway speeds. Too many variables for anyone to give you a reliable answer.

How it behaves and feels will be more a factor of HOW it’s lifted rather than how MUCH it’s lifted.

A really nice, well designed, tuned, aligned and installed 4” lift could be GREAT! But a 4” spacer lift will give the same height and same look but completely different behavior characteristics and drive and perform poorly.

You’ll totally flip over when the wind blows.

I’ve got a 6” lift and have not experienced any of the issues you are concerned with.

I'd be more worried about what kind of lift is installed. A 4" lift is usually of the drop-bracket variety. Those add no capability to your vehicle and are not easily reversible, if I'm not mistaken.

I have a 6" lift, and keep having trouble with replacement CV axles on front. Main issue is the boots keep cracking. I have been buying off Amazon, which is probably the problem. I have found good ones with Urethane expanded boots but the ones on Amazon are $65 and the good ones I'm looking at are over $500 each. I put them on myself, but it's a lot of labor. Guess I'll bite the bullet and buy the good ones.

    Anyone else had simiar experience?
