Ah shit, my bad, thought this was about Dynas.

concept remains the same though, stick with TH for 2-1 pipes at a value/quality cross point

I’m not a 2:1 fan at all. I need @J_Anthony_ to get his dad to sell his bike so he can sell @GHOST SHIP his 2:1 and then I can buy his short shots :D

    Ha!

I like the Cobra 909’s, and the TBR 2-1....complete opposites but :notsure:

2-1 has a slight advantage performance wise. Not really something you’d notice by the seat of your pants but more of a dyno sheet type of advantage. I prefer the classic look of 2-2 which is why I went with the short shots.
:gossip: Plus they were significantly cheaper. I feel like the sound of the 2-2. Feels snappier- more of a cackle. The 2-1s I’ve heard mellow that out without sacrificing volume. Has a good rumble to it. Again, either one will be a huge improvement over stock and without hearing both side by side you probably won’t regret your choice either way.

Rode the Grom into work today. It’s nice taking the back roads instead of hopping on the highway in my car.

Harley V-twin responds really well to a 2 into 1 system. Big improvement in scavenging and reduced weight. One of the big ways the early Buell bikes put out bugger HP and torque numbers than the same year Sporty. I always liked the old Supertrapp set up where you could "tune" the pipe by adding or subtracting discs on the end.

I don’t see either of those happening. They already have the CRF250 rally and I can’t see people paying more for a race spec Grom. Half the fun of the grom is modding it.

now if they released a crf450 rally that would be SICK!
