You should notice that it holds on to each gear longer. Just driving around the neighborhood without it on, it will shift quickly to get to optimal mpg, but with ECT on , I barely get out of 2nd gear in the neighborhood and the rpms are much higher.

Did you put the spacer on the front or back of your seat. I assume the front?[/QUOTE]

The front, I see some folks raise the rear of the seat which seems counterintuitive to me. Raising the rear would just make my problem worse. I guess we are all built differently.

Should be, just need to to a CMC and some minor trimming. If running facotry rims (besides pro) you will need a spacer to clear the upper control arm.

The Mrs not noticing any new additions may not be such a bad thing. :anonymous:
Go for a big one!

............, and then say "I just wanted to see if you noticed!" Might work for a one time expenditure.

Raising the rear only makes sense if you're a midget.

That's some good advice right there!

Lift kit anyone?! Stereo upgrade perhaps? Leather seat covers... so many options

Lol! You left out the "Women!" remark.
That comment deflects from the mod in question and in theory interrupts the thought process just long enough giving you a precious few seconds to get away.
Unfortunately my Mrs is quick on her feet so that didn't work either. o_O
